About N44.2 million has been declared missing at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
These developments have led to the abrupt end of the sale of forms, particularly to the Senate and the House of Representatives in connection with the sudden disappearance of N44.2 million.
The party had put up a canopy in which Senate and House of Representatives forms were sold to candidates.
But around 4:15 pm, the canopies were removed by the group and ordered staff to continue selling forms at the International Conference Center, in Abuja.
It has been reported that due to the inability of security agents in the party secretary’s office to control the crowd, party chairman Senator Abdulahi Adamu has ordered staff selling forms in the National Assembly to relocate to the International Conference Center (ICC).
It was also collected that development may be unrelated to the sudden disappearance of $ 75,000, equivalent to N44.2 million.
Employees of the organization, who did not want to be named, said the peanuts were removed after it was discovered that the money was missing.
The source said: “We heard that someone came to the party secretariat today, but because of the crowd, he could not come into the secretariat with his car. But while struggling to find his way into the secretariat, we learnt that the $75,000 he was holding inside an envelope fell.”
However, the party will continue to sell administrative and presidential forms to the party secretary’s office so that it can control the crowd.
