Governor Nyesom Wike has announced that Farah Dagogo is wanted for plotting to assassinate the secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Port Harcourt.
Mr Wike revealed this in a statement to his news correspondent Kelvin Ebiri.
The governor ordered Rivers police to arrest Mr Dagogo, a member of the House of Representatives from Degema Bonny district.
Mr Wike said Mr Dagogo allegedly hired parishioners who raided the PDP secretary’s office in Port Harcourt and disrupted the selection process.
“The police must, as a matter of urgency, arrest Farah Dagogo, wherever he is and must be made to face prosecution. Already, some of the hoodlums hired by Farah Dagogo have been arrested and will be made to face the full wrath of the law,” the statement said.
