
The Transgender community in Abuja staged a public protest against the Nigerian state government on Sunday, May 1.
The protest took place in an open park with several protesters waving T-shirts with various slogans including “Trans lives matter” and “Queer rights”. human rights.
They also raised the banner by urging the government to focus on the most pressing issues in the country such as insecurity, injustice, and food shortages among others.
