Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state on Wednesday, officially declared to run for 2023 presidency under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fayemi, who made the announcement in Abuja, said he would restore hope and build a world of destiny for all and a great benefit for the country.
The governor also used the occasion to express his conviction that he would revitalize rural areas, build the economy and give hope to the people of Nigeria.
Fayemi said his government would be leading a comprehensive and integrated approach to addressing national insecurity.
The president’s optimism has emphasized that his appointment gives hope to a nation based on a common vision.
Fayemi commended the courage of some presidential candidates, stating: “I will in the course of this campiagn adhere to the highest standard of decorum and decency which Nigerians expect from their leaders.”
