Peter Obi, Anambra State Former governor and presidential aspirant, has officially joined the Labour Party (LP) to contest the 2023 presidential election, after dumping the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Reports gathered that Obi registered as a member of the party on Friday in his ward in Anambra State.
He is expected to contest the party’s presidential primary election next Tuesday.
It had been reported on Wednesday that Obi was planning to dump the PDP for Labour Party.
