President Muhammadu Buhari held a meeting with the APC national leader, Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa ahead of the primaries scheduled to hold May 30.
One of Mr Buhari’s photographers, Sunday Aghaeze, confirmed this in a photo report on Tuesday night in Abuja.
The reason for the meeting has not been disclosed.
Tinubu had purchased the APC presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at its national secretariat in Abuja.
James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Ikeja Federal Constituency, purchased the form on Tinubu’s behalf.
Mr Faleke was accompanied by the former Secretary of State Government (SGF), Babachir Lawal, and hundreds of members of the Tinubu Support Groups (TSG) in the party’s secretary’s office.
