President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Ebonyi State on a two-day working visit to launch projects and meet some South-East leaders.
He was received by Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi and other rulers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) including the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi; Hope Uzodinma of Imo and Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa.
President Buhari commissioned the Twin Flyover at Uburu, a doal carriage federal road 12 km from Mbu, Enugu State to Uburu, Ebonyi and equipment and machinery at King David University of Medical Sciences.
He later went to the Muhammadu Buhari International Airport, Onueke.
In Onueke, the president built a 5km two-term airport airport and a Presidential Lodge airport.
Other projects that will be unveiled by the president during his stay in Abakaliki include the new Government House, Centenary City and the renovated St. Louis buildings. Margaret Umahi International Market, Advocates.
The President will also inaugurate the Aisha Buhari Wife of Governor’s Office Complex, Akanu Ibiam Lodge (new Governor’s Lodge), Ebonyi House.
Mr Buhari, who will be hosting the State Dinner by the Ebonyi Regional Government on Thursday night, will also open the Muhammadu Buhari Light Tunnel Flyover and the Ebonyi Shopping Mall.
The president will conclude his visit to Ebonyi with a closed meeting with Southeast leaders in Abakaliki before heading to Abuja on Friday.
