Former governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun has officially joined the long list of 2023 presidential aspirants.
Amosun declared for presidency at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Center, Central Business District (CBD), Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday, joining the likes of Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transport; and Chris Ngige, Minister of Labor and Employment; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, among others.
Recall that Adams Oshiomhole, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC); and Ekiti Regional Governor Kayode Fayemi announced their intention to run in the 2023 presidential election.
The APC special presidential convention is scheduled to take place from Monday, May 30, to Wednesday, June 1.
