Ahead of the National Congress of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scheduled for May 28 and 29, 2022, Atiku Abubakar said he deserved the first right of refusal for the party’s ticket.
Atiku, who made the remarks during a visit to the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) on Thursday in Abuja, said he had 11 million votes in his kit to help the party regain power in 2023.
A candidate for the 2019 PDP presidential election, who praised the party’s leadership for allowing others to enter the race, emphasized “I deserve the first right to refuse”.
