Ekiti Governor Kayode Fayemi has visited some All Progressives Congress (APC) officials as he joins the race for presidency.
Fayemi announced that he had met with Kano Governor Abdullah Ganduje and Nasarawa Governor Abdullah Sule on Tuesday.
The Ekiti chief said the parleys were “designed for further consultation on the APC Presidential Primary election”.
Fayemi also met with the former Governor of Benue and the Minister of Special Affairs and Intergovernmental Affairs, Senator George Akume.
“The meetings provided an opportunity to listen and share ideas on the best ways to improve the boundaries of the national agenda,” he noted.
Fayemi added that they also discussed ways to revitalize the Nigerian system of governance and its ability to respond to national social issues.
