The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has further extended the deadline for the sale of its interest and nomination forms. to May 12.
The new date has been fixed to May 12 while aspirants are meant to submit nomination forms by Friday.
In a statement announcing the development, the party stated that the holiday season was a delay in the purchase and delivery of the forms.
The statement added that those who wished to submit their forms would be screened on Saturday and Sunday.
“Following the new submission date, the APC has set Saturday, May 14 and Sunday May 15 to review all applicants who have returned their completed and signed nominations and to produce interest forms to APC clerks,” the statement said.
The APC had announced Tuesday as a deadline after extending it from May 6.
