Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) female presidential aspirant, has promised a better life for Nigerians if elected.
“My quest for leadership is for the betterment of the citizenry and development,” Mrs Key said on Monday.
The aspirant said this when she met with the party’s chairmen, secretaries, and elders from the five states in the South-East.
She said that her agenda was to ensure unity and peace, education and wealth creation, youth transformation, human capacity and infrastructure development.
The presidential hopeful said that she would work to eliminate prejudice and discrimination against women.
She also promised to involve people living with disabilities in the decision-making process.
Mrs Key also spoke on security issues, saying that she would declare a state of emergency on security in the country if voted into office.
She assured security personnel would be constantly trained and empowered to secure the country.
The PRP chairman in the state, Mathias Aninwachukwu, spoke on behalf of the officials in the zone.
Mr Aninwachukwu promised to support the aspirant in achieving her goals.
