JUST IN: Emeka Nwajiuba Resigns As Junior Education Minister

Emeka Nwajiuba has resigned as Education Minister.

The resignation comes after President Muhammadu Buhari ordered that all ministers and aides seeking 2023 political positions next year resign.

Nwajiuba is contesting for 2023 presidency under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Others expected to resign from the cabinet include Attorney-General Abubakar Malami, transport minister Rotimi Amaechi, Niger-Delta minister, Godswill Akpabio, labour minister Chris Ngige, science and technology minister Ogbonnaya Onu, mines minister Uche Ogar and women affairs minister Pauline Tallen.
