Some associations have called on the friends of the APC leader, Bola Tinubu, to support the purchase of the APC presidential nomination form.
A campaign group, and some friends of Asiwaju appealed thus: “For the friends of Asiwaju who wish to support the purchase of his expression of interest and nomination forms, we are pleased to enclose below the account details for your contributions.”
Not many Nigerians will see Mr Tinubu unable to buy forms for himself. The former Lagos governor has increased his contributions since the start of the 2023 presidential race illegally.
On April 5, Mr Tinubu donated N50 million to the Kaduna train crash, and just a week later, he also donated N1 billion to the Lagos State University leadership development center.
Mr Tinubu also donated N50 million each to victims of criminal attacks in Gussau, Zamfara state and Niger province.
Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online.
Some of these parties appear to be backed by candidates as a way to attract voters.
