The All Progressives Congress (APC) will start the sale of its nomination and expression of interest forms on Tuesday.
APC fixed the cost of presidential forms at N100 million, while governorship aspirants will buy for N50 million.
The cost of the APC nomination forms has attracted criticisms for the party. Nonetheless, many aspirants are eager to shell out humongous amounts to obtain the ruling party’s ticket.
Senatorial, House of Representatives and State Assembly aspirants are required to obtain their forms at N20 million, N10 million and N2 million respectively.
Meanwhile, APC women leader Betta Edu defended the prices of the forms, claiming it was done deliberately to weed out “unserious” aspirants who may just want to get in the mix as a cog in the party’s wheel of progress.
