The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has left the venue of the All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential primary election.
The report has it that he left the Eagles Square in Abuja while 14 candidates battle for tickets.
They are: David Umahi, Tunde Bakare, Bola Tinubu, Ahmad Rufai Sani, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Yemi Osinbajo, Rochas Okorocha, Yahaya Bello, Tein Jack-Rich, Ogbonnaya Onu, Ahmad Lawan, Ben Ayade and Ikeobasi Mokelu
Those who stepped down for either Tinubu or Osinbajo include: Ken Nnamani, Robert A. Boroffice, Badaru Abubakar, Ibikunle Amosun, Godswill Akpabio, Kayode Fayemi, Nicholas Felix, Uju Ken-Ohanenye and Dimeji Bankole.
However, the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, failed to show up at the venue of the convention and did not appear on stage to market his candidacy.
Voting is currently going on, with delegates voting according to their States.
