Former Deputy Governor of Rivers State Telenyem Renner Ikuru, popularly known as Tele Ikuru has officially joined the Rivers State governorship race under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

So far, other candidates to join the gubernatorial race under the platform of the PDP are; Senator Ledogo Maeba, Senator Olaka Johnson, Barrister Isaac Kamalu among others.
