Nigerian soldier, Musa Dawa has announced his voluntary resignation from the military in order to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential aspirant, Peter Obi in his campaign.
Announcing his resignation on his twitter account, @ Dawa419, Dawa said his voluntary resignation, which had been approved by the Nigerian military, would give him time to campaign for Obi.
“I wish to tell you my voluntary retirement has been approved by the @HQNigerianArmy which has paved room for me to vigorously campaign for Peter Obi as my preferred candidate of choice come 2023 in sha Allah; we will rescue this country.
“Thank you, my good friend, I did it for my kid’s future. A better public educational system is what I desire for them.
“Going back to the jungle where I will continue to blow Peter Obi’s trumpet to the birds whilst defending our territorial sovereignty for him to see where to govern. Peter Obi made my pass a memorable one and give me Hope to defend his ground,” Dawa tweeted.
The Nigerian Army has not reacted yet to the posts by the soldier.
