Aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmaad has confirmed the defection of former president Goodluck Jonathan from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Bashir made the assertion on his Twitter page on Thursday in response to those who questioned his earlier prediction that the former president would join the ruling party.
His tweet read: “When I shared the news of former President Jonathan joining our party, his uninformed supporters insulted me saying it can never happen even in the wildest dream.
“They should know that we know something they don’t know and not everything is planned and executed on social media.”
