The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its Presidential screening exercise scheduled to hold Monday, May 23.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka announced this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.
He stated that the party regretted any inconveniences caused by the postponement, adding that a new date for the exercise would be announced soon.
More than 25 presidential candidates will be screened by the APC Presidential Screening Committee to contest the party’s 2023 presidential ticket.
Some of the presidential aspirants awaiting screening include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, APC national leader Bola Tinubu, the former transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Niger Delta Development , Godswill Akpabio and several others.
