Deji Adeyanju, an Abuja-based lawyer and rights activist has warned against Bola Tinubu and vice president Yemi Osinbajo claiming the former would enslave Nigerians if he became President in 2023 while the latter is incompetent.
In a report, the activist alleged that Tinubu’s word was law in Lagos, hence, must not be allowed to replicate such at the national level.
He urged the President to ensure that the APC presidential ticket goes to the Southeast during the party’s upcoming presidential primaries.
According to Adeyanju: “The President will play a key role in deciding who APC’s presidential candidate is; I would like to emphasize my appeal to him to put national interest above party interest.
Deji Adeyanju, also reacted to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s declaration to succeed Muhammadu Buhari during next year’s general elections.
It had been reported that Osinbajo said if given the opportunity he will provide an excellent environment for businesses to fly, enhance Nigeria’s Social Investment Programme to a full scale social welfare scheme and create a tech economy that will provide jobs for millions of Nigerians.
Reacting, Adeyanju warned Nigerians that Osinbajo was ‘extremely incompetent.’
He tweeted, “Osinbajo and the Yoruba people supporting him may think Nigeria was created for them but how can a man serve as Vice President for eight years in a divided and multi ethnic nation where some regions have never held power before and now want to be president for another eight years?
“And this man is even extremely incompetent.”
