Gucci Mane has been enticing fans with his Evil Genius album for a while now, at first the singer announced the project way back in December on his Twitter handle, but didn’t make mention of a release date. Last month, Gucci Mane shared the names of rappers to be featured in the project and finally dropped off the song titled “Kept Back” featuring Lil Pump, leaving the fans hopeful that project was finally around the corner. While his fans continued to wait for a concrete release date to surface, Gucci Mane decides to still hold his fans over in the meantime with another fresh single titled “Wake Up In The Sky,” featuring Bruno Mars & Kodak Black released today. This song was at the beginning teased a couple of weeks when Bruno Mars & Kodak Black were spotted cooking up in the studio, but it wasn’t seen as an evidence until Thursday when we found out that Gucci Mane was on it too.
Remember that Gucci Mane was previously featured on the remix of Bruno’s 24K Magic single titled “That’s What I Like,” which dropped back in April. So, this is not actually the first time Bruno & Guwop have worked together.
Serving as the first offering from international rapper Kodak Black since his prison break lol… Since he was released from prison i mean. So, download and take a listen to this fresh and dope collabo.
